"Road of Fire" follows the journey of Rukta, a pagan warrior, and Oswin, a Christian merchant, as they are sent on a perilous mission to acquire gunpowder.
Initially distrustful of each other, their relationship evolves through shared hardships and battles against common enemies. Despite their cultural and religious differences, they develop a mutual respect and camaraderie.
The mission ultimately reveals deeper political betrayals, leading to Oswin's tragic death and Rukta's return with the gunpowder, carrying the weight of their shared experiences and Oswin's legacy.
